A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are eight men sitting around a circular table. Four of them are facing towards the centre and four of them are facing away from the centre. All of them like a different actress, viz. W, L, O, N, Y, M, Z and T, but not necessarily in the same order.
E faces towards the centre and likes W. Both the immediate neighbours of E face away from the centre and like O and N. D faces away from the centre. Both the immediate neighbours of D face towards the centre. E sits third to the right of F, who likes Y and faces away from the centre. C sits third to the left of F.
The one who likes O sits opposite to F. The one who likes L is not the immediate neighbour of F and faces away from the centre. A sits second to the left of C . A does not like Z or T. The one who likes Z sits between H and F. B faces away from the centre and does not like L.
A, B, C, D, E, F, G और H आठ व्यक्ति एक वृताक्र मेज के चारो और बैठे है. इनमे से कुछ का मुख केंद्र की ओर है जबकि कुछ का मुख केंद्र की विपरीत दिशा की ओर है. इन सभी को अलग-अलग अभिनेत्रियाँ पसंद है अर्थात. W, L, O, N, Y, M, Z और T, परन्तु आवश्यक नहीं इसी क्रम में हो.
E का मुख केंद्र की ओर है और उसे W पसंद है. E के दोनों निकटतम पड़ोसियों का मुख केंद्र की विपरीत दिशा की ओर है और इन्हें O और N पसंद है. D का मुख केंद्र की विपरीत दिशा में है. D के दोनों निकटतम पड़ोसियों का मुख केंद्र की दिशा में है. E, F के दायें से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है, F जोकि Y को पसंद करता है, का मुख केंद्र की विपरीत दिशा की ओर है. C, F के बायें से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है.
वह व्यक्ति जो O को पसंद करता है और F के विपरीत बैठा है. वह व्यक्ति जो L को पसंद करता है F का निकटतम पडोसी नहीं है और उसका मुख केंद्र की विपरीत दिशा की ओर है. A, C के बायें से दुसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. A को या तो Z या T पसंद नहीं है. वह व्यक्ति जो Z को पसंद करता है, H और F के मध्य बैठा है. B का मुख केंद्र की विपरीत दिशा की ओर है और उसे L पसंद नहीं है.
There are eight persons namely A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H lives on eight different floors from one to
eight. Ground floor is number 1 and top floor is number eight but not necessarily in the same order.
Only three persons live below the floor on which E lives. Two persons live between the floor on which E and H lives. More than one person live between the floor on which E and A lives. C lives immediately above G. C lives on odd numbered floor. Only one person lives between B and F. B lives one of the above floor on which F lives. D lives on even numbered floor but not on 2nd floor.
यहाँ आठ व्यक्ति अर्थात A, B, C, D, E, F, G और H एक से आठ तल पर अलग-अलग रहते है. इस ईमारत में भूतल की संख्या 1 है और सबसे उपर के तल की संख्या आठ है, परन्तु आवश्यक नहीं इसी क्रम में हो.
केवल तीन व्यक्ति, E के तल के नीचे तल पर रहते है. दो व्यक्ति, E और H के तल के मध्य रहते है. एक से अधिक व्यक्ति E और A के तल के मध्य रहता है. C, G के ठीक उपर रहता है. C, विषम संख्या वाले तल पर रहता है. केवल एक व्यक्ति B और F के मध्य रहता है. B, F के उपर तल पर रहता है. D सम संख्या वाले तल पर रहत अहै परन्तु दुसरे तल पर नहीं रहता है.
Eight friends A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting in a straight line (but not necessarily in the same
order). Some of them are facing south while some are facing north.
(Note: Facing the same direction means. If one is facing north then the other also faces north and vice- versa. Facing opposite directions means If one is facing North then the other faces south and Vice-versa).
B sits third to left of F. Two persons sit between B and H. F does not sit at any of the extreme end of the row. C does not sit adjacent to B and H. D sits second to right of G. C sits fourth to right of A. D does not sit adjacent to A. Immediate neighbour of G faces opposite direction( Opposite direction means if one neighbour faces north then other will face south and vice-versa). The one who sit at extreme end faces opposite direction. D faces north and sits immediate left of B. D and B faces same direction. Immediate neighbour of F faces same direction as F ( If F faces north then both neighbour of F will face north and vice-versa).
आठ मित्र A, B, C, D, E, F, G और H एक सीधी रेखा में बैठे है (परन्तु आवश्यक नहीं इसी क्रम में बैठे है). इनमे से कुछ का मुख दक्षिण की ओर है जबकि कुछ का मुख उत्तर की ओर है.
(नोट: समान दिशा की ओर मुख से तात्पर्य है. यदि एक व्यक्ति उत्तर की ओर मुख करके बैठा है तो दूसरा व्यक्ति भी उत्तर की ओर मुख करके बैठा होगा और इसी प्रकार. विपरीत दिशा में मुख होने से तात्पर्य है- यदि एक व्यक्ति का उत्तर दिशा में है तो दुसरे व्यक्ति का मुख दक्षिण में होगा और इसी प्रकार विपरीत).
B, F के बायें से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. दो व्यक्ति B और H के मध्य बैठे है. F, रेखा के किसी भी अंतिम छोर पर नहीं बैठा है. C, B और H के आसन्न नहीं बैठा है. D, G के दायें से दुसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. C, A के दायें से चौथे स्थान पर बैठा है. D, A के आसन्न नहीं बैठा है. G के निकटतम पड़ोसियों का मुख विपरीत दिशा में है ( विपरीत दिशा से तात्पर्य है यदि एक पडोसी का मुख उत्तर दिशा में है तो दुसरे पडोसी का मुख दक्षिण दिशा में होगा और इसी प्रकार विपरीत). वह जो अंतिम छोर पर बैठे है, का मुख विपरीत दिशा में है. D का मुख उत्तर दिशा में है और B के ठीक बायें बैठा है. D और B का मुख समान दिशा में है. F के दोनों पड़ोसियों का मुख F की समान दिशा की ओर है ( यदि F का मुख उत्तर की ओर है तो दोनों पड़ोसियों का मुख भी उत्तर की ओर होगा और इसी प्रकार).
P, Q, R, S, T, V and W are seven friends. Each of them likes a particular fruit viz. Apple, Banana, Pear, Guava, Orange, Mango and Watermelon and each of them has a favourite city, viz. Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad and Cochin. The choices of fruit and favourite city of the seven friends are not necessarily in the same order.
Q likes Mango and his favourite city is Chennai. The one whose favourite city is Pune likes Watermelon. T’s favourite city is Kolkata. R likes Guava and his favourite city is not Mumbai. W’s favourite city is Cochin and he does not like either Banana or Pear. The favourite city of the one, who likes Orange is Hyderabad. T does not like Pear. P’s favourite city is neither Pune nor Hyderabad. S does not like Watermelon.
P, Q, R, S, T, V और W सात मित्र है. इनमे से प्रत्येक अलग-अलग फल पसंद करता है अर्थात. सेब, केले, नाशपाती, अमरूद, संतरा, आम और तरबूज और इसमें से प्रत्येक को अलग-अलग शहर पसंद है अर्थात. मुंबई, पुणे, दिल्ली, कोलकाता, चेन्नई, हैदराबाद और कोचीन. सात मित्रो द्वारा फल और पसंदीदा शहर का चयन आवश्यक नहीं समान क्रम में हो.
Q को आम पसंद है और उसका पसंदीदा शहर चेन्नई है. वह व्यक्ति जिसका पसंदीदा शहर पुणे है, तरबूज पसंद करता है. T को कोलकाता शहर पसंद है. R को अमरुद पसंद है और उसका पसंदीदा शहर मुंबई नहीं है. W को कोचीन शहर पसंद है और उसे या तो केला या नाशपाती पसंद नहीं है. वह व्यक्ति जिसे संतरा पसंद है उसका पसंदीदा शहर हैदराबाद है. T को नाशपाती पसं नहीं है. P का पसंदीदा शहर न तो पुणे है न ही हैदराबाद है. S को तरबूज पसंद नहीं है.
Eight persons A, B, C, D E, F, G and H sit on the same row and all of them facing towards north direction but not necessarily in same order. All of them stay in different floors viz. 5th, 7th, 8th, 11th, 15th, 17th, 19th and 21st of a multi-storey building but not necessarily in same order. The one who stays on 8th floor sits second to right of one who stays on 7th floor. C stays on 15th floor. A sits fourth to left of person who stays on 21st floor.D sits not adjacent to H. Neither A nor the person who stays on 21st floor sit on the extreme end of the line. B sits third to left of F. There is only one person sits between the G, who lives on 5th floor and the person who stays on 21st floor. There are two persons sit between G and the one who stays on 19th floor. H sits immediate left of one who stays on 19th floor. There are two persons sit between H and F , who stays on 17th floor.
आठ व्यक्ति A, B, C, D E, F, G और H सभी एक ही रेखा में बैठे है और इन सभी का मुख उत्तर की ओर है परन्तु आवश्यक नहीं इसी क्रम में हो. यह सभी बहु-मंजिला ईमारत में अलग-अलग तल अर्थात. 5वें, 7वें, 8वें, 11वें, 15वें, 17वें, 19वें और 21वें तल पर रहते है परन्तु आवश्यक नहीं इसी क्रम में हो. वह व्यक्ति जो 8वें तल पर रहता है, 7वें तल पर रहने वाले व्यक्ति के दायें से दुसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. C, 15वें तल पर रहता है. A, 21 वें तल पर रहने वाले व्यक्ति के बायें से चौथे स्थान पर बैठा है. D, H के आसन्न नहीं बैठा है. न तो A न ही 21वें तल पर रहने वाला व्यक्ति रेखा के अंतिम तल पर बैठा है. B, F के बायें से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. यहाँ केवल एक व्यक्ति G, जोकि 5वें तल पर रहता है और 21वें तल पर रहने वाले व्यक्ति के मध्य बैठा है. यहाँ दो व्यक्ति G और 19वें तल पर रहने वाले व्यक्ति के मध्य बैठे है. H, 19वें तल पर रहने वाले व्यक्ति के ठीक बायें बैठा है. यहाँ दो व्यक्ति H और F के मध्य बैठे है , F जोकि 17वें तल पर रहता है.
