A group of seven persons –J, K, L, M, N, O and P like different fruits i.e. kiwi, mango, apple, guava, watermelon, orange and strawberry. They attend classes on different days of week starting from Monday to Sunday. No two persons has class on same day of the week.
N attends class on Friday. Only one person attends class between the one who likes guava and the one who likes watermelon. K likes apple. More than one person attends the class between the one who likes orange and the one who likes strawberry. N likes Guava. M likes kiwi. P attends class on Sunday. Only one person attends class between J and L. Neither the one who likes orange nor the one who likes kiwi attends the class on Saturday. K attends class on Tuesday. The one who likes mango attends the class before the one who likes apple.
सात व्यक्तियों का समूह –J, K, L, M, N, O और P को विभिन्न फल पसंद हैं अर्थात कीवी, आम, सेब, अमरूद, तरबूज, नारंगी और स्ट्रॉबेरी. वे सोमवार से रविवार तक शुरू होने वाले सप्ताह के विभिन्न दिनों में कक्षाओं में भाग लेते हैं. किसी भी दो व्यक्तियों की कक्षा सप्ताह के समान दिन नहीं होती है.
N शुक्रवार को कक्षा में भाग लेता है. अमरुद पसंद करने वाले और तरबूज पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति के मध्य केवल एक व्यक्ति बैठा है. K को सेब पसंद है. संतरा और स्ट्रॉबेरी पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति के मध्य एक से अधिक व्यक्ति बैठे हैं. N को अमरुद पसंद है. M को कीवी पसंद है. P रविवार को कक्षा में भाग लेता है. J और L के मध्य केवल एक व्यक्ति कक्षा में भाग लेता है. न तो संतरा पसंद करने वाला न ही कीवी पसंद करने वाला व्यक्ति शनिवार को कक्षा में भाग लेता है. K मंगलवार को कक्षा में भाग लेता है. वह व्यक्ति जिसे आम पसंद हैं वह सेब पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति के पहले कक्षा में भाग लेता है.
Ten persons are sitting in two parallel rows facing each other. A, B, C, D and E are sitting in row 1 facing north and P, Q, R, S and T are sitting in row 2 facing south (not necessarily in the same order). The persons who are facing each other likes same sports. The sports are Cricket, Football, Hockey, Tennis and Badminton.
B sits third to the right of E and one of them sits at an extreme end of the row. One person sit between S and P and neither of them sits at any end. The pair who likes Badminton sits to the immediate left of B. T sits at one of the end and does not like Football. C sits second to the right of E. S likes Cricket. D likes football and sits at one of the end. Q does not like Football. Either of the pair who sits at the extreme ends does not like Hockey. The pair who likes Tennis does not sit to the immediate right of P. Q does not face A.
दस व्यक्ति दो समानांतर पंक्तियों में एक दुसरे की ओर उन्मुख होकर बैठे हैं. A, B, C, D और E पंक्ति 1 में उत्तर की ओर उन्मुख होकर बैठे हैं और P, Q, R, S और T दक्षिण की ओर उनमुख होकर बैठे हैं (लेकिन आवश्यक नहीं कि इसी क्रम में हों). वे व्यक्ति जो एक दुसरे के सामने बैठे हैं वे समान खेल पसंद करते हैं. खेल हैं क्रिकेट, फुटबॉल, हॉकी, टेनिस और बैडमिंटन.
B, E के दायें से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है और उनमें से एक पंक्ति के अंतिम छोर पर बैठा है. S और P के मध्य एक व्यक्ति बैठा है और उनमें से कोई भी अंतिम छोर पर नहीं बैठा है. वह जोड़ा जिसे बैडमिंटन पसंद है वह B के ठीक बाएं बैठा है. T किसी एक अंतिम छोर पर बैठा है और उसे फुटबॉल पसंद नहीं है. C, E के दायें से दुसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. S, को क्रिकेट पसंद है. D को फुटबॉल पसंद है और वह किसी एक अंतिम छोर पर बैठा है. Q को फुटबॉल पसंद नहीं है. अंतिम छोर पर बैठे जोड़ो में से किसी एक को हॉकी पसंद नहीं है. वह जोड़ा जिसे टेनिस पसंद है वह P के ठीक दायें बैठा है. Q, A की ओर उन्मुख नहीं है.
Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H are sitting around a square table such that persons sitting at the corners face inside and the one at the middle of the sides faces away from the centre. G sits 2nd to the right of E. B sits exactly between E and F. C sits 2nd to the right of the one who is 3rd right to E. A does not face towards the center. Two persons sit between G and D. No two persons are sitting adjacent to each other according to the English alphabet (i.e. A is not next to B, B is not next to A and C and so on..)
आठ व्यक्ति A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H एक वर्गाकार मेज के चारो ओर इस प्रकार बैठे हैं जिस से कोनो पर बैठे व्यकित अंदर की ओर उन्मुख हैं और मध्य में बैठे व्यक्ति केंद्र से बाहर की ओर उन्मुख हैं. G, E के दायें से दुसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. B, E और F के ठीक मध्य बैठा है. C उस व्यक्ति के दायें से दुसरे स्थान पर बैठा है जो E के दायें से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. A केंद्र की ओर उन्मुख नहीं है. G और D के मध्य दो व्यक्ति बैठे हैं. अंग्रेजी वर्णमाला के अनुसार कोई भी दो व्यक्ति एक दुसरे के असान्न नहीं बैठे हैं (अर्थात A, B के असान्न नहीं है, B, A और C के आसन्न नहीं है इसी प्रकार आगे.)
Eight boxes are placed one above the other. Four of which are coloured and the rest contain fruits. F is of Red color. Only one box is kept between box F and the box which contains apple. Two boxes are placed between box H and Box which contains Banana. Two boxes are kept between black box and red box, which is just above box which contains banana. Box which contains apple is just below the box which is of black color. Box G is kept at one of the places above box C. Four boxes are placed between box C and box G. Box C is just above box which contains Guava. Two boxes are between C and A which contains litchi. Blue colored box is immediate above E and immediate below D. B is not pink colored.Box H does not contain apple.

Eight persons A, B, C, D, M, N, O, and P are seating in a row, some are facing north and some are facing south but not necessarily in the same order. D sits 4th right of B. C sits left of N. M, D and N are facing in same direction. O doesn’t sit just near to N. A sits at one of the extreme ends and B sits 2nd to right of A. C and O are immediate neighbors of each other, none of them sits at any of the extreme end. M doesn’t sit just near to both B and N. Immediate neighbors of B face opposite direction of B. C and O face same direction but O doesn’t face south direction. N sits 3rd from one of the extreme ends.

Nine persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, and I are living on different floor in a nine floor building counting from one to nine but not necessarily in the same order. Ground floor is numbered 1 and so on . They all have different annual income i.e $1175, $1800, $2500, $987, $1680, $1365, $2147, $4900, and $5300 but not necessarily in the same order.
There are three floors between A and I, whose annual income is $1680. The annual income of H is $2500 and he lives immediately above the floor on which A lives. There is only one floor between H and G, whose annual income is $987 . The annual income of F is $1800 and he lives below the floor on which G lives. F does not live on even number floor. There is only two floors between F and E, whose annual income is $1175 . The annual income of B is $4900 and he lives below the floor on which F lives. G does not live on ninth floor. B lives on even number floor. There are as many as floor between B and one, whose annual income is $1365 and as between A and C . The annual income of A is not $2147

यहाँ A और I के मध्य तीन तल है, जिसकी वार्षिक आय $1680 है. H की वार्षिक आय $2500 है और वह, A के ठीक उपर तल पर रहता है. यहाँ केवल एक तल H और G के मध्य स्थित है, जिसकी वार्षिक आय $987 है. F की वार्षिक आय $1800 है और वह G के नीचे तल पर रहता है. F, सम संख्या वाले तल पर नहीं रहता है. यहाँ केवल दो तल F और E के मध्य स्थित है, जिसकी वार्षिक आय $1175 है. B की वार्षिक आय $4900 है और वह F के नीचे तल पर रहता है. G, नौवें तल पर नहीं रहता है. B सम संख्या वाले तल पर रहता है. B और $1365 वार्षिक आय वाले व्यक्ति के मध्य उतने ही व्यक्ति है जितने A और C के मध्य स्थित है. A की वार्षिक आय $2147 नहीं है.
There are seven students, A, B, C, D, E, F and G. And they like different subject’s viz. Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Science, and Art but not necessarily in the same order. They play different games viz. Ludo, Chess, Badminton, Cricket, Football, Carrom, and Kho-Kho but not necessarily in the same order. They are from different sectors of Noida viz. Noida Sec-37, Noida Sec-62, Noida Sec-58, Noida Sec-12, Noida Sec-44, and Noida Sec-19. Each subject is liked by at least one student except two subjects which are liked by two students each. Only two students are there, who are from the same place (Sector). The following information is known about them. A like’s English subject. E likes Art subject and plays cricket. The student who plays Badminton belongs to Noida Sec-44. D and F likes same subject. The only student who belongs to Noida Sec-37 plays Ludo. B plays either Chess or Carrom. F belongs to Noida Sec-19. The one who belongs to Noida Sec-12 plays Football but he does not like English subject nor he is D. Neither B nor F likes Sanskrit subject. The student who likes Hindi belongs to Noida Sec-58 and in any case he is not D. The student who plays Kho-Kho likes Sanskrit subject. C and E belong to same sector of Noida. There are two students who like Sanskrit subject. A does not belong to Noida Sec-37 and C does not like Football.
यहाँ सात छात्र, A, B, C, D, E, F और G है. और इन्हें अलग-अलग विषय पसंद है अर्थात हिंदी, अंग्रेजी, संस्कृत, विज्ञान और आर्ट परन्तु आवश्यक नहीं इसी क्रम में हो. वे अलग-अलग खेल खेलना पसंद करते है अर्थात लूडो, शतरंज, बैडमिंटन, क्रिकेट, फुटबॉल, कैरम, और खो-खो परन्तु आवश्यक नहीं इसी क्रम में हो. वह नॉएडा के अलग-अलग सेक्टर में रहते है अर्थात. नॉएडा सेक्टर -37, नॉएडा सेक्टर -62, नॉएडा सेक्टर -58, नॉएडा सेक्टर -12, नॉएडा सेक्टर -44, और नॉएडा सेक्टर -19. प्रत्येक विषय कम से कम एक छात्र द्वारा पसंद किया जाता है, केवल दो विषयों को छोड़कर जोकि दो छात्रों द्वारा पसंद किया जाता है. केवल दो छात्र है, जोकि समान स्थान(सेक्टर) से है. निम्नलिखित जानकारी इनके सन्दर्भ में है. A को अंग्रेजी विषय पसंद है. E को आर्ट विषय पसंद है और वह क्रिकेट खेलता है. वह छात्र जो बैडमिंटन खेलता है नॉएडा सेक्टर -44 से सम्बंधित है. D और F को समान विषय पसंद है. केवल छात्र जो नॉएडा सेक्टर 37 से सम्बंधित है लूडो खेलता है. B या तो चेस या कैरम खेलता है. F का संबंध नॉएडा सेक्टर -19 से है. वह व्यक्ति जो नॉएडा सेक्टर 12 से सम्बंधित है फूटबाल खेलता है परन्तु उसे अंग्रेजी विषय पसंद नहीं है न ही वह D है. न ही B न ही F को संस्कृत विषय पसंद है. वह छात्र जिसे हिंदी विषय पसंद है वह नॉएडा सेक्टर -58 से सम्बंधित है और वह किसी भी मामले में D नहीं है. वह व्यक्ति जिसे खो-खो खेलना पसंद है उसे संस्कृत विषय पसंद है. C और E नॉएडा के समान सेक्टर से सम्बंधित है. यहाँ दो छात्रों को संस्कृत विषय पसंद है. A का संबंध नॉएडा सेक्टर 37 से नहीं है और C को फूटबाल पसंद नहीं है.
Eight boxes namely P, R, S, T, U, M, N and O are placed from top to bottom but not necessarily in the same order. They contain different types of books among Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Math, Science, Physics, Chemistry and Civics. Boxes are of different colours among red, green, black and yellow colour. Exactly two boxes are there of each colour. Consider top as 1st position and so on. The following information is known about them. There is gap of one box between the box T which is green colour and box R and both are in the top 4 positions when boxes are arranged from top to bottom. The box containing Math book is kept immediately below black colour box and is of same colour as T. Box S is kept somewhere between N and O. Box O is below S. The two yellow boxes are kept vertically adjacent to each other. Sanskrit book is kept exactly between M and the box containing Physics book. O doesn’t contain Hindi book. There is gap of one box between the box U and box N, which is kept immediately below the box containing Math book. Box U is below the box N. The box containing Civics book is placed at even numbered place but is not placed at the bottom. The red colour box which is kept at top either contains Hindi or Chemistry book. Box U is not of yellow colour. Box M which contains Science book is of black colour. The box containing English book is of black colour. S doesn’t contain any of Hindi or Civics book.
आठ बॉक्स जिनका नाम P, R, S, T, U, M, N और O है उपर से नीचे की ओर व्यवस्थित किये गए है परन्तु आवश्यक नहीं इसी क्रम में हो. इनमे अलग-अलग प्रकार की पुस्तके है हिंदी, अंग्रेजी, संस्कृत, गणित, विज्ञान, भौतिकी, रसायन विज्ञान और नागरिक विज्ञान. यह बॉक्स अलग-अलग रंग के है अर्थात लाल, हरा, काला और पीला. प्रत्येक रंग के दो बॉक्स है. इसमें सबसे उपर के बॉक्स को पहले स्थान पर मानना है और इसी प्रकार. निम्नलिखित जानकारी इनके सन्दर्भ में दी गयी है. यहाँ बॉक्स T, जोकि हरे रंग का है तथा बॉक्स R के बीच एक बॉक्स का अंतर है और यह दोनों बॉक्स उपर से नीचे की ओर व्यवस्थित करने के क्रम में शीर्ष 4 बॉक्स में स्थित है. वह बॉक्स जिसमे गणित की पुस्तके है, काले रंग के बॉक्स के ठीक नीचे रखा है और उसका रंग T के समान है. बॉक्स S, बॉक्स N और O के बीच कहीं रखा गया है. बॉक्स O, बॉक्स S के नीचे रखा है.दोनों पीले रंग के बॉक्स एक-दूसरे के लम्ब रूप से आसन्न रखे गए है.संस्कृत की पुस्तकों का बॉक्स, M और भौतिक विज्ञान की पुस्तकों के बॉक्स के ठीक मध्य रखा है.O में हिंदी की पुस्तके नहीं है. यहाँ बॉक्स U और बॉक्स N के बीच एक बॉक्स का अंतर है, जोकि गणित की पुस्तकों के बॉक्स के ठीक नीचे रखा गया है. बॉक्स U, बॉक्स N के नीचे रखा गया है.वह बॉक्स जिसमे नागरिक शास्त्र की पुस्तके है एक सम संख्या वाले स्थान पर रखा गया है परन्तु वह बॉक्स सबसे नीचे नहीं रखा गया है. लाल रंग का बॉक्स सबसे उपर रखा गया है और उसमे या तो हिंदी या रसायन विज्ञान की पुस्तके है. बॉक्स U, पीले रंग का नहीं है. बॉक्स M जिसमे विज्ञान की पुस्तके है, काले रंग का है. वह बॉक्स जिसमे अंग्रेजी की पुस्तके है काले रंग का बॉक्स है. S में कोई भी हिंदी या नागरिकशास्त्र की पुस्तक नहीं है.
Nine people – P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, and X live on separate floors of a 9-floor building. Ground floor is numbered 1, first floor is numbered 2 and so on until the topmost floor is numbered 9. Each one of these is travelling to a different city of India viz. Noida, Delhi, Agra, Kanpur, Meerut,Varanasi, Pune, Patna, and Mumbai but not necessarily in the same order.
Only five people live above the floors on which P lives. Only one person lives between P and the one travelling to Varanasi.
U lives immediately below the one travelling to Delhi. The one travelling to Delhi lives on an even numbered floor.
Only three people live between the ones travelling to Varanasi and Agra.
T lives immediately above R. T is not travelling to Agra. Only two people live between Q and the one travelling to Meerut. The one travelling to Meerut lives below the floor on which Q lives. W is travelling to Patna and lives on floor no. 8.
The one travelling to Noida does not live immediately above or immediately below Q.
S does not live immediately above or immediately below P. X travelling to Mumbai and lives immediately above W. V does not travel to Kanpur.
नौ व्यक्ति– P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, और X एक नौ मंजिला इमारत पर अलग अलग मंजिलों पर रहते हैं. भूतल की संख्या 1 है, पहली मंजिल की संख्या 2 है और इसी प्रकार सबसे ऊपर वाली मंजिल की संख्या 9 है. इनमें से प्रत्येक भारत के विभिन्न शहरों की यात्रा कर रहे हैं अर्थात नोएडा, दिल्ली, आगरा, कानपुर, मेरठ, वाराणसी, पुणे, पटना और मुंबई लेकिन आवश्यक नहीं की इसी क्रम में हों.
P के ऊपर वाली मंजिलों पर केवल पांच व्यक्ति रहते हैं. P और वाराणसी की यात्रा करने वाले व्यक्ति के मध्य केवल एक व्यक्ति रहता है.
U उस व्यक्ति के ठीक नीचे रहता है जो दिल्ली की यात्रा कर रहा है. वह व्यक्ति जो दिल्ली की यात्रा कर रहा है वह एक सम संख्या वाली मंजिल पर रहता है.
वाराणसी और आगरा की यात्रा करने वाले व्यक्ति के मध्य केवल तीन व्यक्ति रहते हैं.
T, R के ठीक ऊपर रहता है. T आगरा की यात्रा नहीं कर रहा है. Q और मेरठ की यात्रा करने वाले व्यक्ति के मध्य केवल दो व्यक्ति रहते हैं. मेरठ की यात्रा करने वाला व्यक्ति Q के नीचे वाली मंजिल पर रहता है. W पटना की यात्रा कर रहा है और वह मंजिल 8 पर रहता है.
वह व्यक्ति जो नॉएडा की यात्रा कर रहा है वह Q के ठीक ऊपर या नीचे नहीं रहता है.
S, P के ठीक ऊपर या ठीक नीचे नहीं रहता है. X मुंबई की यात्रा कर रहा है और वह W के ठीक ऊपर रहता है. V कानपूर की यात्रा नहीं कर रहा है.
