P, Q, R, S, T, V and W are seven friends. Each of them likes a particular fruit, viz. Apple, Banana, Pear, Guava, Orange, Mango and Watermelon and each of them has a favourite city, viz. Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad and Cochin. The choices of fruit and favourite city of the seven friends are not necessarily in the same order.
Q likes Mango and his favourite city is Chennai. The one whose favourite city is Pune likes Watermelon. T’s favourite city is Kolkata. R likes Guava and his favourite city is not Mumbai. W’s favourite city is Cochin and he does not like either Banana or Pear. The favourite city of the one, who likes Orange is Hyderabad. T does not like Pear. P’s favourite city is neither Pune nor Hyderabad. S does not like Watermelon.
P, Q, R, S, T, V और W सात मित्र हैं. उनमें से प्रत्येक को एक निश्चित फल पसंद है अर्थात सेब, केले, नाशपाती, अमरूद, नारंगी, आम और तरबूज और उनमें से प्रत्येक को विभिन्न शहर पसंद है अर्थात मुंबई, पुणे, दिल्ली, कोलकाता, चेन्नई, हैदराबाद और कोचीन. सात दोस्तों के फल और पसंदीदा शहर की पसंद अवश्यक नहीं की इसी क्रम में हो.
Q को आम पसंद है और उसका पसंदीदा शहर चेन्नई है. वह व्यक्ति जिसका पसंदीदा शहर पुणे है उसे तरबूज पसंद है. T का पसंदीदा शहर कोल्कता है. R को अमरुद पसंद है और उसका पसंदीद शहर मुंबई नहीं है. W का पसंदीदा शहर कोचीन है और उसे या तो केला या नाशपाती पसंद नहीं है. संतरा पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति का पसंदीदा शहर हैदराबाद है. T को नाशपाती पसंद नहीं है. P का पसंदीदा शहर न तो पुणे है न ही हैदराबाद. S को तरबूज पसंद नहीं है.
T, V, W, X, Y and Z live on different floors in the same building having six floors numbered one to six (the ground floor is numbered 1, the floor above it, number 2 and so on and the top most floor is number 6).There are two floors above the floor on which X lives. T lives on an even numbered floor. Only two People live between the floors on which T and Y live. V lives on a floor immediately above the floor on which Z lives.
T, V, W, X, Y और Z एक ही छ: मंजिला इमारत की विभिन्न मंजिलों पर रहते हैं (भूतल की संख्या 1 है, उसके ऊपर वाली मंजिल की संख्या 2 और इसी प्रकार मंजिल 6 तक). X की मंजिल के ऊपर दो मंजिल हैं. T एक सम संख्या वाली मंजिल पर रहता है. केवल दो व्यक्ति T और Y के मध्य बैठे हैं. V ठीक Z के ऊपर वाली मंजिल पर रहता है
Twelve people are sitting in two parallel rows containing six people each, in such a way that there is an equal distance between adjacent persons. In row– 1, P, Q, R, S, T and V are seated and all of them are facing south. In row- 2, A, B, C, D, E and F are seated and all of them are facing north. Therefore, in the given seating arrangement each member seated in a row faces another member of the other row.
A sits third to right of D. Neither A nor D sits at extreme ends. T faces D. V does not face A and V does not sit at any of the extreme ends. V is not an immediate neighbour of T. B sits at one of the extreme ends. Only two people sit between B and E. E does not face V. Two persons sit between R and Q. R is not an immediate neighbour of T. C does not face V. P is not an immediate neighbour of R.
बारह व्यक्ति दो समानांतर रेखा में, प्रत्येक में छ: व्यक्ति इस प्रकार बैठे है कि प्रत्येक आसन्न बैठे व्यक्ति के बीच समान दूरी है. रेखा– 1 में, P, Q, R, S, T और V बैठे है और इन सभी का मुख दक्षिण की ओर है. रेखा – 2 में, A, B, C, D, E और F बैठे है और इन सभी का मुख उत्तर की ओर है. इस प्रकार दी गयी बैठने की व्यवस्था में, एक रेखा में बैठे प्रत्येक व्यक्ति का मुख दूसरी रेखा में बैठे व्यक्ति की ओर है.
A, D के दायें से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. न तो A न ही D रेखा के अंतिम छोर पर बैठे है. T का मुख D की ओर है. V का मुख A की ओर नहीं है और V रेखा के किसी भी अंतिम छोर पर नहीं बैठा है. V, T का निकटतम पडोसी नहीं है. B रेखा के किसी अंतिम छोर पर बैठा है. केवल दो व्यक्ति B और E के मध्य बैठे है. E का मुख V की ओर नहीं है. दो व्यक्ति R और Q के बीच में बैठे है. R, T का निकटतम पडोसी नहीं है. C, V का निकटतम पडोसी नहीं है. P, R का निकटतम पडोसी नहीं है.
A hotel is rented out for six different events in a week starting from Monday and ending on Sunday of the same week. One of these days is an off-day, i.e., the hall is not rented out for any performance. These events are dance competition, singing competition, corporate conference, seminar, drama and a college’s annual day but not necessarily in the same order.
There are three days between the corporate conference and the singing competition. Corporate conference is organized after singing competition. The college’s annual day celebration is neither scheduled for the weekend (i.e., Saturday and Sunday) nor on a day immediately prior to or immediately after the singing competition.
There is one day between the college’s annual day celebration and the seminar. Dance competition is held before the singing competition. There is one day between the annual day celebration and drama. Drama is not scheduled for Sunday.
एक होटल एक सप्ताह में अलग-अलग दिन सोमवार से रविवार को छ: अलग-अलग समाहरोह के लिए किराए पर दिया जाता है. इनमे से एक दिन छुट्टी होती है, अर्थात., हॉल किसी भी प्रदर्शन के लिए किराय पर नहीं दिया जाता. यह आयोजन है:- नृत्य प्रतियोगिता, गायन प्रतियोगिता, कॉर्पोरेट सम्मेलन, सेमिनार, नाटक और कॉलेज का वार्षिक दिवस परन्तु आवश्यक नहीं इसी क्रम में हो.
कॉर्पोरेट सम्मेलन और गायन प्रतियोगिता के बीच तीन दिन है. कॉर्पोरेट सम्मेलन, गायन प्रतियोगिता के बाद आयोजित किया जायेगा. कॉलेज का वार्षिक दिवस न तो सप्ताह के अंत(अर्थात शनिवार या रविवार) में अनुसूचित किया गया है और न ही गायन प्रतियोगिता के ठीक पहले या ठीक बाद में आयोजित किया गया है.
कॉलेज वार्षिक दिवस और सेमिनार के मध्य एक दिन का अंतर है. नृत्य प्रतियोगिता, गायन प्रतियोगिता के पहले आयोजित की जाएगी. वार्षिक दिवस समाहरोह और नाटक के बीच एक दिन का अंतर है. नाटक, रविवार को आयोजित नहीं किया जायेगा.
A, B, C, D, E, F, G & H are eight friends and all of them are sitting around a circular table but not necessarily in same order. Some of them are facing inside and some of them are facing outside.
H sits second to left of B. C sits third to left of H. Three persons sit between C and G. A sits second to left of G. Three persons sit between A and D. C and D faces same direction as G. E sits second to right of F who is not immediate neighbor of D. D sits immediate right of E. F sits opposite to B. H sits immediate right of A and both of them faces opposite to center.
A, B, C, D, E, F, G & H आठ मित्र है और वह सभी एक वृताकार मेज के चारो ओर बैठे है परन्तु आवश्यक नहीं इसी क्रम में हो. कुछ का मुख केंद्र की ओर है और कुछ का मुख केंद्र की विपरीत दिशा में है.
H, B के बायें से दुसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. C, H के बायें से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. तीन व्यक्ति C और G के मध्य बैठे है. A, G के बायें से दुसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. तीन व्यक्ति A और D के मध्य बैठे है. C और D का मुख G की समान दिशा में है. E, F के दायें से दुसरे स्थान पर बैठा है जोकि D का निकटतम पडोसी नहीं है. D, E के ठीक दायें बैठा है. F, B के विपरीत बैठा है. H, A के ठीक दायें बैठा है और दोनों का मुख केंद्र की विपरीत दिशा में है.
Each of the seven products viz A, B, C, D, E, F and G are sold on a different day of a week starting from Monday and ending on Sunday of the same week. Product F is sold on Thursday. Two products are sold between product F and product A. Only one product is sold between product E and product D. Product E is not sold on the days immediately before or immediately after the day when product F is sold. Product C is sold the day immediately before the day when product G is sold. Product D is not sold after product B.
सात उत्पाद अर्थात A, B, C, D, E, F और G में से प्रत्येक, समान सप्ताह के अलग-अलग दिन सोमवार से रविवार बेचे जाते है. उत्पाद F की बिक्री गुरुवार को होती है. दो उत्पादों की बिक्री, उत्पाद F और उत्पाद A के मध्य होती है. केवल एक उत्पाद. उत्पाद E और उत्पाद D के मध्य बेचा जाता है. उत्पाद E की बिक्री, उत्पाद F के ठीक पहले या ठीक बाद के दिन नहीं की जाती. उत्पाद C की बिक्री, उत्पाद G के बिक्री के दिन से ठीक पहले की जाती है. उत्पाद D की बिक्री, उत्पाद B के बाद नहीं की जाती.
