There are eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are sitting around a circular table. All are facing towards the center of the table. No two successive persons are sitting together according to alphabetical order. For Example: A does not sit with B; similarly B does not sit with C and so on. All of them belong to different city viz. Agra, Noida, Pune, Varanasi, Delhi, Puri, Lucknow and Patna but not necessarily in the same order.
There is only one person sits between the one who belongs to Puri and F, who belongs Patna . E is not immediate neighbor of G. The one who belongs to Lucknow sits second to right of E. There is only one person sits between the one who belongs to Lucknow and the one who belongs to Delhi . Immediate neighbor of E does not belong to Varanasi. B does not belong to Varanasi . G sits third to right of one who belongs to Puri .A belongs to Noida and he sits second to right of G.B is not immediate neighbor of E. Immediate neighbor of E does not belong to Pune .
यहाँ आठ व्यक्ति A, B, C, D, E, F, G और H एक वृताकार मेज के चारो ओर बैठे है. सभी का मुख मेज की केंद्र की ओर है. अंग्रेजी वर्णमाला के अनुसार नामित कोई भी दो व्यक्ति साथ में नहीं बैठे है. उदाहरण: A, B के साथ नहीं बैठा है; समान रूप से B, C के साथ नहीं बैठा है और इसी प्रकार. यह सभी अलग-अलग शहर से सम्बंधित है अर्थात आगरा, नोएडा, पुणे, वाराणसी, दिल्ली, पुरी, लखनऊ और पटना परन्तु आवश्यक नहीं इसी क्रम में हो.
यहाँ केवल एक व्यक्ति पूरी से सम्बंधित व्यक्ति और F के मध्य बैठा है, F जोकि पटना से सम्बंधित है. E, G का निकटतम पडोसी नहीं है. वह व्यक्ति जो लखनऊ से सम्बंधित है, E के दायें से दुसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. यहाँ केवल एक व्यक्ति लखनऊ से सम्बंधित व्यक्ति और दिल्ली से सम्बंधित व्यक्ति के मध्य बैठा है. E का निकटतम पडोसी वाराणसी से सम्बंधित नहीं है. B, वाराणसी से सम्बंधित नहीं है. G, पूरी से सम्बंधित व्यक्ति के दायें से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. A का संबंध नॉएडा से है और वह G के दायें से दुसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. B, E का निकटतम पडोसी नहीं है. E के निकटतम पडोसी पुणे से सम्बंधित नहीं है.
Eight persons Q, R, S, T, V, W, Y and Z are sitting around a circular table, facing the centre. There are three males and five females in the group of persons. No two males are immediate neighbors of each other.
V sits second to the right of his wife. S sits third to the right of V. W sits second to the right of her husband Z. Z is not an immediate neighbor of V’s wife. T is a male and Y is not an immediate neighbor of V. R sits second to the right of Q.
आठ व्यक्ति Q, R, S, T, V, W, Y और Z एक वृताकार मेज के चारो ओर केंद्र की ओर मुख करके बैठे है. समूह में तीन पुरुष और पांच महिला सदस्य है. कोई भी दो पुरुष सदस्य एक-दुसरे के निकटतम पडोसी नहीं है.
V, अपनी पत्नी के दायें से दुसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. S, V के दायें से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. W अपने पति Z से दायें से दुसरे स्थान पर बैठी है. Z, V की पत्नी के आसन्न नहीं बैठा है. T, पुरुष है और Y, V का निकटतम पडोसी नहीं है. R, Q के दायें से दुसरे स्थान पर बैठा है.
Seven students, namely L, M, N, O, X, Q and R, like different colour, namely Red, Blue, Pink, White, Yellow, Cream and Violet, but not necessarily in the same order. Each student also has a presentation on topics of different subjects, namely Hindi, Math, Science, Computer, Chemistry, Physics and Sanskrit but not necessarily in the same order.
Q has a presentation on Hindi and likes neither Pink nor White. The one who likes Red has a presentation on Math. L likes Blue and has a presentation neither on Computer nor on Chemistry. The one who likes Violet has a presentation on Sanskrit. M has a presentation on Physics and does not like White. The one who likes White does not have a presentation on Chemistry. O likes Yellow. R does not have a presentation on Math and does not like White. X does not like White.
सात छात्र, जिनका नाम L, M, N, O, X, Q और R है, अलग-अलग रंग पसंद करते है अर्थात लाल, नीला, गुलाबी, सफेद, पीला, क्रीम और वायलेट, परन्तु आवश्यक नहीं इसी क्रम में हो. प्रत्येक छात्र की अलग-अलग विषयों पर प्रस्तुति है, अर्थात हिंदी, गणित, विज्ञान, कंप्यूटर, रसायन विज्ञान, भौतिकी और संस्कृत परन्तु आवश्यक नहीं इसी क्रम में हो.
Q की प्रस्तुति हिंदी विषय पर है और उसे न तो गुलाबी न ही सफ़ेद रंग पसंद है. वह व्यक्ति जिसे लाल रंग पसंद है, गणित पर प्रस्तुति देगा. L को नीला रंग पसंद है और वह न तो कंप्यूटर न ही रसायन विज्ञान पर प्रस्तुति देगा. वह व्यक्ति जिसे वायलेट रंग पसंद है, संस्कृत पर प्रस्तुति देगा. M की प्रस्तुति भौतिक विज्ञान पर है और उसे सफ़ेद रंग पसंद नहीं है. वह व्यक्ति जो सफ़ेद रंग पसंद करता है रसायन विज्ञान पर प्रस्तुति नहीं देगा. O को पीला रंग पसंद है. R की प्रस्तुति गणित पर नहीं है और उसे सफ़ेद रंग पसंद नहीं है. X को सफ़ेद रंग पसंद नहीं है.
I, J, K, L, W, Y, M and N are sitting around a circular table facing the centre with equal distance between each other, but not necessarily in the same order.
W sits third to the right of K. M sits on the immediate right of J’s son. Only three people sit between J’s husband and M. Only one person sits between J’s husband and I. Only one person sits between W and J’s son. J sits on the immediate left of K. J’s father sits second to the right of L. Only three people sit between J’s father and J’s brother. J’s daughter sits second to the right of N. J’s sister sits third to the right of J’s mother. L sits on the immediate right of Y.
I, J, K, L, W, Y, M और N एक वृताकार मेज के चारो ओर केंद्र कि ओर मुख करके बैठे हैं और प्रत्येक व्यक्ति के मध्य समान दूरी है लेकिन आवश्यक नहीं कि इसी क्रम में हो.
W, K के दायें से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. M, J के पुत्र के ठीक दायें बैठा है. केवल तीन व्यक्ति J के पति और M के मध्य बैठे हैं. केवल एक व्यक्ति J के पति और I के मध्य बैठा है. केवल रल्क व्यक्ति W और J के पुत्र के मध्य बैठा है. J, K के ठीक बाएं बैठा है. J का पिता L के दायें से दूसरे स्थान पर बैठा है. J के पिता और J के भाई के मध्य केवल तीन व्यक्ति बैठे हैं. J कि पुत्री N के दायें से दूसरे स्थान पर बैठी है. J कि बहन J कि माँ के दायें से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठी है. L, Y के ठीक दायें बैठा है.
T, U, V, W, X, Y and Z live on a seven-storey building but not necessarily in the same order. The lowermost floor of the building is numbered 1, and the topmost floor is numbered 7. Each of them has a birthday is in different month, viz, January, February, March, April, May, June and July.
T lives on an odd-numbered floor but not on floor number 3. The one whose birthday is in May lives immediately above T. Only two persons live between W and the one whose birthday is in May. The one whose birthday is in January lives on one of the odd-numbered floors but above W. Only three persons live between V and the one whose birthday is in January. The one whose birthday is in March lives immediately above V. The one whose birthday is in February lives immediately above the one whose birthday is in July. Z lives on an odd-numbered floor. Only one person lives between U and X. U lives on one of the floors above X. Neither V nor T has birthday is in April. X’s birthday is not in March.
T, U, V, W, X, Y और Z एक सात मंजिला के अलग-अलग तल पर रहते है परन्तु आवश्यक नहीं इसी क्रम में रहते हो. इस ईमारत का सबसे नीचे का तल की संख्या 1 है, और सबसे उपर का तल की संख्या 7 है. इनमे से प्रत्येक का जन्मदिन अलग महीनो अर्थात, जनवरी, फरवरी, मार्च, अप्रैल, मई, जून और जुलाई में आता है.
T, विषम-संख्या वाले तल पर रहता है परन्तु तल संख्या 3 पर नहीं रहता है. वह व्यक्ति जिसका जन्मदिन मई में आता है, T के ठीक उपर रहता है. केवल दो व्यक्ति W और मई में जन्मदिन वाले व्यक्ति के मध्य रहते है. वह व्यक्ति जिसका जन्मदिन जनवरी में है, विषम संख्या वाले तल पर रहता है परन्तु W के उपर रहता है. केवल तीन व्यक्ति V और जनवरी में जन्मदिन वाले व्यक्ति के मध्य रहते है. वह व्यक्ति जिसका जन्मदिन मार्च में है V के ठीक उपर रहता है. वह व्यक्ति जिसका जन्मदिन फ़रवरी में है, जुलाई में जन्मदिन वाले व्यक्ति के ठीक उपर रहता है. Z, विषम संख्या वाले तल पर रहता है. केवल एक व्यक्ति U और X के मध्य रहता है. U, X के उपर एक तल पर रहता है. न तो V न ही T का अप्रैल में जन्मदिन है. X का जन्मदिन मार्च में नहीं है.
